The CHAIMELON project also collaborates with other European projects and initiatives.

PRedictive In-silico Multiscale Analytics to support cancer personalized diaGnosis and prognosis, Empowered by imaging biomarkers

PRIMAGE proposes an open cloud-based platform to support decision making in the clinical management of two paediatric cancers, Neuroblastoma (NB), the most frequent solid cancer of early childhood, and the Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma (DIPG) the leading cause of brain tumour-related death in children.

ProCancer-I Project

An AI Platform integrating imaging data and models, supporting precision care through prostate cancer’s continuum

ProCAncer-I brings together 20 partners, including PCa centers of reference, world leaders in AI, and innovative SMEs, with recognized expertise in their respective domains, with the objective to design, develop, and sustain a cloud-based, secure European Image Infrastructure with tools and services for data handling.

A multimodal AI-based toolbox and an interoperable health imaging repository for the empowerment of imaging analysis related to the diagnosis, prediction, and follow-up of cancer

The EU-funded INCISIVE project aims to develop a toolbox for enhancing the accuracy, specificity and sensitivity of existing cancer imaging methods. The idea is to generate a pan-European repository of medical images that can be used for ML-based training for various types of cancer. The project’s deliverables will assist the accurate prediction of tumour spread, evolution and relapse, in addition to helping stratify patients.

EuCanImage Project

A European Cancer Image Platform Linked to Biological and Health Data for Next- Generation Artificial Intelligence and Precision Medicine in Oncology

EuCanImage’s goal is a secure AI-powered European cancer imaging platform. With a dataset of 25,000 subjects, it aims to address needs like detecting liver lesions, colorectal cancer metastases, and estimating breast tumor subtypes. The platform will integrate with health repositories via the European Genome-phenome Archive, enabling multi-scale AI solutions that merge organ-level, molecular, and clinical data for personalized cancer profiles.

Together with CHAIMELEON, the five projects form the AI for Health Imaging (AI4HI) cluster.
